Tour Introduction

Immerse yourself in (the) local culture by tasting the most precious drops of the Mediterranean, getting to know the locals, learning about our heritage and enjoying freshly prepared delicacies. The tour begins with a transfer from agreed location to the Ancient Salona where we shall learn a thing or two about olive oil. You will become acquainted with the production process by comparing the characteristics of top quality olive oil with those of lesser quality, and taste various types of gourmet oils, infused with locally-grown herbs such as wild sage, fennel and rosemary.

Wine and cultural experience we will find a bit later, in the neighbouring coastal town called Kaštela (Castles). Exploring the town, its museums and hidden beauties, our path will bring us to a small local producer of premium wines to round up the experience in his company. On his farm we will prepare our food while enjoying his wines made from indigenous Croatian varieties
