The old town of Rovinj is known as one of the most picturesque and romantic towns in the Mediterranean. Located on a former island that was once surrounded by walls, in 1763 the channel between the island and the mainland was embanked, turning the island into a peninsula. This distinctive and delightful monument of culture features an array of narrow houses and streets, embellished with small town squares, all tucked together in a confined space, inviting the visitors to enjoy the intimacy of each corner. During our guided walking tour, you will stroll along its cobbled streets, easily ascending to the town’s most distinctive landmark, the Church of St. Euphemia.

The tour continues to Pula, a town in which every few steps you can see a different landmark. Explore the history behind the city’s most famous and most important monument – the Amphitheatre. Discover numerous monuments of Roman architecture like the Temple of Augustus, the beautiful Ravenna-style basilica of Santa Formosa, the eye-catching Triumphal Arch of Sergius, and the 1st century Gate of Hercules. As we enjoy walking through the streets, we shall look for a nice local café to sip some coffee in peace, before we commence our way back.
