The antique orthogonal streetsystem beautified by fortifications, public and domestic buildings and especially the Romanesque churcharchitecture, is completed by an exceptional Renaissance and Baroque buildings from the Venetian period.
Our next destination is just 15 minutes' drive from Trogir, on the beach of Kaštela Riviera or in a vineyard near the top of the mountain Kozjak*. There you will have the opportunity to get acquainted with wines made from Croatian indigenous sorts, among which is the most interesting Crljenak from Kaštela, the ancestor of the world famous Zinfandel.
