National Park Plitvice Lakes is one of the oldest national parks in Southeastern Europe and the largest national park in Croatia. It was founded in 1949, and in 1979 was added to the UNESCO World Heritage register among the first natural sites worldwide.

After arriving at the National park, you will follow your tour leader descending down 16 lakes which have been formed in a valley between high-forested mountains and cascade into 92 spectacular waterfalls. Sightseeing is circular and includes the Lower and Upper Lakes area, with a combination of walks and electric-boat ride, while the return to the starting point will be by panoramic train.
